Order in a system in society can be closely related to the story of Brownies. reconginizeing yourself in a world where people are involved in your life is essential. Commanding the troop was the two girls who would seem to be malicious and malignant to the behavior of the other girls in their troop. "Even the only white kid in our school , Dennis, got in on the Caucasian act" shows the control over the people the two girls had. The two girls had almost complete control over their "willing" followers.
Order can also relate to the story through instruction. In the Origin of Species, Darwin instructs people to think a new concept of where people have derived from. He introduced the concept of evolution. He knew though since the concept is relatively new and the majority of people in the time period believed in creationism. "Varieties cannot be distinguished from species-except, first, by the discovery of an intermediate linking forms". When Darwin instructed people to think of alternative ideas of where people originated it changed the present into a system that believes in the conceptual theory of evolution.
Chaos in war go hand in hand. When war starts chaos follows close behind. The communist Manifesto describes a war between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie. "The progress of dissolution going on within the ruling class" means that the failure of the ruling class is eminent and that they will soon fall to war, corruption and ultimately chaos. War can be directly compared to Black Friday, a favorite time when people all go shopping at the same time and make the workers there experience a new found hatred for disrespectful shoppers. I used to work at a shoe store and it get hectic around that time. The psychology briefer course article describes the material me which is what is used to cause the chaos during the holiday. "We so appropriate our cloths and identify ourselves" relates to this because people need material possessions and will do anything to get them; which is very unfortunate for a store employee being in the front lines trying to tame the war like chaos of black Friday.
Mathematics also is chaotic because it is something very few people seem to understand. The chaos theory itself and the butterfly effect mentioned in The Butterfly Effect are directly correlated mathematically and scientifically. "This new run should have exactly duplicated the old" states that everything done once the same way should repeat itself. The common mistake with that logic is that it doesn't and many variables in those experments could be unaccounted for. When the theory is used it shows everything has a tendency to diverge and go into seperate directions at different intervals. When math and chaos form together they create a balance that no one seems to notice.
It is evident the the course has deepened my views of order and chaos and had given both theological and scientific evidence in supporting many of the daily aspects in human existence. When Order is in surplus chaos must come and prevent the cycle from going into complete overload and vice-versa with choas getting to strong. Even thinking to high school the order and chaos that went on prepared us for graduation and to the movement into our new and unexplored world.
